Sexual violence in detention continues to plague corrections facilities across the U.S. and abroad. Despite the magnitude of this human right crisis, however, there is a scarcity of information about prisoner rape available to the general public. Through its publications, JDI offers updates about its own work and about recent developments in the effort to end this form of violence.

Please note that JDI changed its name in September 2008 and that many of the publications listed below refer to the organization under its former name, Stop Prisoner Rape (SPR).
