Survivor Adds A Name, Face to Prison Rape
More than 1 million prisoners were likely sexually assaulted in the 20 years preceding
the passage of the Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003, according to federal officials.
Garrett Cunningham, a victim of prison rape, is joined by fellow prison rape prevention
activists Judge Reggie B. Walton and Lovisa Stannow. They discuss realities and stigmas
of sexual assault, particularly among men.
